Michelle C. Dziurgot DDS
|
Dr. Michelle C. Dziurgot is a 1996 graduate of the University of Detroit
Mercy School of Dentistry. She completed a one year Advanced Education in
General Dentistry at the Naval Dental Center in Great Lakes, Il., and was
then stationed with the US Marines while attached to 23rd Dental Company in
29 Palms, CA.
Dr. Dziurgot is a member of both the Michigan and American Dental
Associations, the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, and is eligible
for Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry due to her completion of
over 1500 hours of continuing education in a variety of dental subjects.
She is a second term board member and Editor of the Macomb Dental Society
and was Chairman of the Young Dentist component of that society for four
years.
Dr. Dziurgot is passionate in striving for new methods to treat the dental
needs and wants of her patients. Her special interests include children,
periodontal well-being and dental laser assisted smile enhancement.
While away from the office, she enjoys swimming, biking and traveling with
her husband of over fifteen years, Dan Palomba.
Dr. Dziurgot and her husband had a wonderful addition to their family with
the birth of their first child, a son, Danny Palomba in October 2008.

Dana Sexton - Dental Coordinator
|
Dana Sexton coordinates with both Dr. Dziurgot and the dental assistants to
educate patients and schedule future treatment needs. She has a ten
year background in management and has been with our office for 4 years. In
the time she has been here, she has been cross trained and x-ray certified
to assist in patient care.
While away from the office, Dana enjoys shopping, spending time with her
family and friends as well as spending her weekends Up North.

Gabriela Tkaczyk - Dental Assistant
|
Gabriela Tkaczyk has been working in the dental field since 2006. As a dental assistant she enjoys gaining new and exciting techniques from continuing education courses with her dental staff. Gabriela is also the Emergency Training manager for MCDental Care. As an additional service for our Polish speaking patients, Gabriela is fluent in the language and is always delighted to translate and verify your dental needs.
When not working she enjoys shopping, traveling , swimming and spending time with her family and friends.

Alyssa Hogan (AJ) - Dental Assistant
|
Alyssa Hogan is a 2010 graduate from Ross Medical Education Center with a certificate in Dental Assisting. She is currently working toward her RDA. She enjoys working with people and being able to help others everyday. She also likes to stay current in all aspects of dentistry by attending continuing education courses.
Outside of the dental office Alyssa enjoys running, riding her dirt bike, and being outside in nature. She likes to spend time with her family and friends.

Sarah Long - Hygiene Coordinator

|
Sarah Long is one of the newest additions to Team Wow. She began at MCDental Care as a patient, then put in hours as a co-op during high school. Sarah has been attending continuing education classes in the dental field and has chosen this path as her career. She began as a dental assistant, receiving both her xray and CPR certification in 2011. Sarah will be the face that welcomes you to the office and coordinates for all four hygienists.

Stephanie M. Bartyzel, RDH
|
Stephanie M. Bartyzel is a 2001 graduate of the University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry. There she earned her license in Dental Hygiene and her Bachelor Degree in Science. She also continued her education and is licensed to administer local anesthetic.
Stephanie enjoys attending continuing education classes to stay fresh on all of the latest dental products and methods. Her favorite part of her job is meeting new people and creating an individual dental hygiene plan based on each patients needs, wants, and lifestyle. Doing this she believes she will help her patients achieve a happy, healthy smile. She also enjoys visiting elementary schools and educating children on the importance of regular dental visits along with great home care.
While away from the office she enjoys rollerblading, camping, and biking. She loves spending time with her new daughter Samantha, husband Brad, and two dogs.

Linda M. Shrum, RDH
|
Linda M. Shrum is a 1995 graduate of Oakland Community College Dental Hygiene Program. Her experience includes working with children and ranges to periodontal treatment. In the past 16 years, she has strived to give the best care to her patients and provide them with the education needed to improve their dental health. Linda enjoys participating in continuing education courses in order to expand her knowledge and to pass that knowledge along to her patients.
While away from the office, Linda enjoys spending time with her two daughters and her husband of 14 years. She also enjoys traveling, football and playing cards.

Isabela Abramowicz - RDH
|
Isabela Abramowicz became a dental hygienist with certification in local anesthesia and nitrous oxide in 2009. She is a dental hygiene curriculum graduate from Baker College in Auburn Hills, MI. She was part of the first graduating class of this newly built dental clinic at Baker and trained with the most up-to-date technology on the dental market.
Isabela is eager to learn and is continuing her education to obtain her bachelors in Applied Science at the University of Detroit Mercy. Since the dental field is ever evolving, she regularly attends dental continuing education courses to learn new skills to help serve her patients. She is fluent in Polish which allows her to translate easily between her Polish speaking patients and the MCDental Care team, creating a comfortable environment for all. Isabela devotes her time outside the office volunteering and has already given 60 hours in voluntary work with more to come.

Dianna Krajewski - Bookkeeper
|
Dianna Krajewski joined MCDental Care in March 2008. She brings over 20 years experience in the accounting and office administration field that all began working as a co-op student for her dad in high school.
Dianna Krajewski currently holds an Associate Degree in Business Management with plans on returning to school to finish up her Bachelor’s Degree. Learning more about the clinical aspect of Dentistry is also a focus of hers.
When not working, Dianna keeps busy tending to her 3 children. She enjoys working out, spending time with friends and weekends camping with her husband and children.
